Easier to keep than crickets.
Most people who switch do it for one of four reasons. All four are things you will notice in the first week.

Photo: our farm They stay put
Crickets jump out of the bin and hide in your house. Dubia cannot climb smooth walls.

Illustration They stay quiet
Crickets chirp. Dubia do not.

Illustration They smell less
Anyone who has kept a cricket bin knows the smell. Dubia bins stay cleaner.

A cricket does not last long in a bin. Dubia keep going, so one order lasts.
What we will not tell you
You will find charts online comparing protein and calcium in feeder insects. We have not checked where those numbers come from, so we do not repeat them. What we can tell you is how these bugs behave in a tub in your house, because we keep them in tubs every day.
Before you order: pick the right size.
Never feed a bug wider than the space between your reptile's eyes.
- 1Look at your reptile from the front.
- 2Find the space between its eyes.
- 3Pick a Dubia roach no wider than that space.
- 4When your reptile grows, move up a size.
Sized it? Tell us your reptile and the size you picked and we take it from there.
Try a pack of 25 first.
Tell us your reptile and the size you picked. We confirm your order and come back to you fast.
We check that we can ship live insects to your state before we accept your order.
