Six sizes, from hatchling to adult.
The right size is the one your reptile can swallow. Six sizes means you can match the animal you have today, then move up as it grows.

Extra small
Hatchlings and tiny geckos, just out of the egg.
Small
Young reptiles that have started growing fast.
Medium
Juveniles. The size most people order first.
Large
Grown bearded dragons and adult geckos.
Extra large
Big adults that need a full meal in one bite.
We keep extra large in short supply, so we send it alongside other sizes.
Adult
Large reptiles, and keepers who breed their own.
Adults are our breeding stock, so we sell them in small numbers only.
Whole totes go through the sorters every 30 to 45 days. A bug drops through the first hole it fits, and that is what puts it in a size.
What they look like next to a quarter.
Each size below sits beside the same quarter, a coin about an inch across, so you can see what the names actually mean.

These are illustrations, not photographs of our bugs. We are shooting our own dubia at every size next to a real quarter, and these get replaced as they are done.
How to pick
Never feed a bug wider than the space between your reptile's eyes.
Look at your reptile head on. Measure the gap between its eyes. A Dubia roach that is wider than that gap is too big, and a bug that is too big is hard to swallow. Measure first, then pick your size.
- 1Look at your reptile from the front.
- 2Find the space between its eyes.
- 3Pick a Dubia roach no wider than that space.
- 4When your reptile grows, move up a size.
